Our Program....
Our Preschool program is for children ages 3-6 years old and will prepare your child for a successful educational experience by:
- Introducing the students to learning centers and developmentally appropriate activities that encompass a wide range of subject matter.
- Give students the opportunity to explore, experiment and create in a safe and nurturing environment.
- Introduce students to music, math, language, reading, social, emotional and physical skills in a creative manner. In addition, we will continue to work with the students on their self-esteem and independence skills.
- Work with students in large and small groups, including our Ready to Read program.
- Prepare our Pre-Kindergarten students for Kindergarten by further expanding upon the developmental aspects of their individual growth.
- Offer a variety of learning centers and developmentally appropriate activities where our students are exposed to activities that help to grow and enhance their social, emotional, cognitive and physical skills.
- For those students moving onto Kindergarten, we introduce academic guidelines such as schedules and routines while continuing to focus on self-esteem and independence skills through enrichment activities and curriculum.
- In addition to schedules and routines, our program promotes growth in a variety of ways to ensure that our students are fully ready to enter Kindergarten with an excellent academic head start.

We integrate learning into every part of the day through our professionally developed curriculum, The Creative Curriculum® for Preschool which is designed to create a high-quality learning environment through hands-on, projected based investigations. Our teachers help build student's confidence, creativity, critical thinking skills, and promote positive outcomes that not only prepare them for their next level of education, but will last a lifetime. The Creative Curriculum® for Preschool is award-winning, research-based, and features exploration and discovery as a way of learning.
The Creative Curriculum® for Preschool is based on 38 objectives for development and learning, which are fully aligned with the Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework as well as early learning standards for every state, and addresses all areas of development and learning, including Social-Emotional, Physical, Cognitive, Literacy, Math, Science and Technology, Social Studies, The Arts and English Language Acquisition.
In addition, the teachers are given daily opportunities for observations to assist in the assessment process. These assessments will be shared with parents three times per year via the student’s portfolio, and parent teacher conferences. Portfolios are available for parents to view throughout the school year, and during the parent teacher conferences.
