Mrs. Tara Stivers holds a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education, and along with teaching in the public school system, she has worked with students of all ages for more than 20 years. After noticing a lack of quality early learning programs in the community, Mrs. Stivers and her husband Jon, opened The Country Playhouse Learning Center in 2006 to serve students ages 4 weeks to 5 years. Later, as the community grew, so did the need for quality school age programs, and in 2012, The Country Playhouse Club opened it's doors. Now, we are proud to extend our early learning services to those families needing solely a half-day Preschool program by opening The Country Playhouse Preschool to serve students ages 3-5 years. We have been blessed with being able to fill a much needed void in the community for the past 12 years, and look forward to many more years of educating the amazing youth in our great city of Enumclaw and the surrounding cities on the plateau.
Meet Our Teachers....
Mrs. Coyle, Assistant Preschool Teacher
Mrs. Jessica Reed holds a Bachelor's degree and has taught Preschool for more than 5 years. Her passion and love for teaching and education shines through in the daily lessons she prepares, and the positive interactions with her students, whom she continually encourages and challenges daily. She encourages family engagement both in and out of the classroom, and is always willing to lend an ear. Mrs. Reed maintains an active and engaging environment in her classroom, and knows the importance of providing multiple learning techniques, especially hands-on opportunities. She enjoys conducting messy projects with her students, the messier the better, and can often be seen sporting glittery hair.
Where Young Minds Grow...
Mrs. Reed, Program Director/Lead Teacher
At The Country Playhouse Preschool, we encourage each child to be the best he/she can be. We strive to create a positive, educational, and supportive learning environment, one that promotes both individual and group learning. We believe that it is necessary for our students to have the proper tools that will lead to new experiences, and help to enhance their abilities and strengths even further. Learning requires active thinking and hands-on activities in a positive environment for our students to discover the world around them. A child that is absorbed in the positive components of life has little time to focus on the negatives.
We want our students to grow up with the knowledge that they can make a positive difference in their own life, as well as in the lives of others around them. By working together as educators and parents, we can accomplish this goal by projecting the most positive influence possible. We all want the best for our children; they are our future, so let's work together to make that future as bright as it possibly can be; for each and every child.
Mrs. Christina Coyle has worked in the Early Childhood Education industry for more than 15 years and has a true passion for working with children of all ages. Her dedication, compassion, and kind ways make her an amazing teacher, educator and advocate for her students. She is a true child at heart, and loves to get down on the floor to play a game, read a story, or help a child with a difficult task. Mrs. Coyle also works with our before and after school program, and has become a true friend and leader to the families in that program, and in all of our programs.
